This mock is an excellent snap shot to see where your child is with regards to sitting either a 10+ exam or getting prepared for the 11+ exams. This will be an introduction to the 11+ Maths and English exams that your child may come across. 

At this time of the year these mock exams are run giving some extra support to those who may be new to the exam environment, from registration through to dismissal. They are held in a school environment. Children will sit exams in English and Maths with a short break/snack in between. These mock exams are aimed at boosting confidence and are carefully set at the correct level for the time in the academic year for each year group.

It will give teachers and tutors an idea of where they are placed right now and their next steps working towards the 11+ exams. 

It will also help to guide you to which school you should be aiming for.

Your child will be fully reassured as they are talked through all stages expected in exam situations and we actively encourage children attending to ask questions to ensure they are fully prepared and confident to do well on the day. The papers are marked and feedback is provided in areas that may need attention and revision advice is offered. You will receive the marked papers back along with a table to see how your child performed relative to the other students sitting the exam.
