Cancellation Policy

Once committed to a course/workshop/exam (by completion of an online or email booking), a contract exists with YBE.

On-Site Workshop/Course/Exam Policy

  • Payment must be received in full 14 days prior to the start of the course/workshop/exam or your place will be offered to someone on the waiting list.

  • Should you need to cancel a booking, you must communicate your wish to cancel by email (hello@yellowbirdeducation.co.uk) and you will have the following options:
    * 14 days or more before the start of the course/workshop/exam, you will be offered a credit for a future course/workshop/exam valid for 12 months OR a full refund less an admin fee (the lesser of 10% of the order or £50).

    *Less than 14 days before the start of the course/workshop/exam, refunds or credits can not be given unless the workshop is full and we can fill the place with the waiting list.

  • No shows are not eligible for a credit or refund.

  • A workshop/exam booking may be transferred to another person with no additional charges.

  • If a child has been asked to isolate, we will try to change your child’s booking if possible. If you can give 5 days notice and proof of isolation then we will look at the options. Where we have a waiting list and another child takes up your place, we can give a refund. 

  • There is an administrative charge of £20 where a cheque is returned unpaid by the bank.

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

In light of the recent COVD-19 situation, should Yellowbird be unable to run workshops/classes/exams:

  • You will be offered a credit for a future course/workshop/exam valid for the remainder of 2020 (with no admin fee for the change of date).

  • If you wish to receive a refund, you will receive a refund less a small admin/bank fee of £28 per workshop.

  • If you can not attend Yellowbird workshops due to enforced holiday quarantine we can not give a refund under 14 days notice from the beginning of the course/workshop.

  • If a child has been asked to isolate, we will try to change your child’s booking if possible. If you can give 5 days notice and proof of isolation then we will look at the options. Where we have a waiting list and another child takes up your place, we can give a refund. 

  • If your child develops COVID symptoms during the course of the workshops/course we are unable to give refunds. We will try our best to accommodate them on a workshop at another time.

Online Workshop/Course/Exam Cancellation Policy

  • Payment must be received in full 14 days prior to the start of the course/workshop/exam or your place will be offered to someone on the waiting list.

  • Once booked into an online workshop, if you need to cancel 14 days before the Workshop begins, you will be offered a credit for a future course/workshop/exam (these may be in person only) valid for 12 months OR a full refund less an admin fee (the lesser of 10% of the order or £50).

  • No refunds will be made if 14 days notice of the beginning of the Workshop/course is not given.

  • No shows are not eligible for a credit or refund.

  • Once our online workshop booklets have been posted/delivered/emailed, we cannot offer a credit or a refund for this booking.

  • PDF Booklets and exam papers may not be passed on to other parties. These contain a copyright to Yellowbird Education.

  • A workshop/exam booking may be transferred to another person with no additional charges.

  • There is an administrative charge of £20 where a cheque is returned unpaid by the bank.
