Time: Sundays, 10:00am-1:00pm (Timings for some groups may vary by half an hour to allow for a staggered drop-off time)

Suitable for: Children who will be starting in Year 6 (11+) in Sept 2024.

ISEB Note: The September 11+ mock exams will be in a format designed for ISEB test preparation. They will still be on paper (not computer) but they will be in a multiple choice format.
Note: Mock exam papers will change each time so students can join multiple times throughout the year to maximise their preparation for exams.

Yellowbird Education hold mock exam practice sessions in English and Maths for 11 plus exams. Papers are set on the basis of current Independent School exam trends. They are marked and feedback is provided in areas that may need attention and revision advice is offered. You will receive the marked papers back along with a table to see how your child performed relative to the other students sitting the exam.

Special requirements note: If your child is entitled to extra time, we may not be able to offer this. We will only be able to offer extra time if we have a large group of students who need it. If we are unable to offer extra time, we will instead give two marks. The first, an actual mark and the other with a 12% increase, to reflect what may have been achieved had the extra time been allowed.

If your child has use of a laptop in their exams, we can accommodate this. However, we are unable to provide the laptop. If you would like your child to sit the exam with their laptop, you will need to provide this yourselves. The laptop must be brought in by you, fully charged, with a document ready to write on. Once the exam is finished, we ask that you send over copies of the document/s to us at hello@yellowbirdeducation.co.uk. The relevant material will need to be sent to us by the evening of the same day so that it can be marked.
