Overview

Following on the successful 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Exam Preparation classes, we are running further 7+, 8+, and 11+ Exam Prep classes on Sundays in the Spring, Summer and Autumn term of 2024. Our weekly Sunday classes are interactive sessions where the children learn core fundamentals required for these specific exams, as well as build confidence and a passion for learning. The lessons will follow our bespoke 7+, 8+ and 11+ syllabus we have developed from our experience over the past several years running workshops, mock exams and successfully helping students gain entry into London schools. The children will be taught by fully qualified and experienced teachers we have worked with over the years.

Children work through our own material in Maths, English and Reasoning. We don't set homework but unfinished work is sent home.

Some Mock Exam dates will clash with the Sunday Exam Prep class dates. Children will sit English/Maths Mock exams for their respective exam groups for May, September and November Mock dates. This applies to all age groups.

Any other English/Maths and all Reasoning Mocks, will not be included and will need to be booked separately

How it works

Our Sunday classes cover an hour of English, and hour of Maths and approximately 45 minutes of Reasoning each week. The classes have no more than 6 students each and we will cover all the topics required for 7+, 8+ and 11+ English and Mathematics and Reasoning. Children are grouped (where possible) by target schools and teachers will get to know the children in the first weeks of the term. We may move children around if we find that they would be better suited to another class. Saying this, there is not a ‘St Pauls group’ or a ‘Westminster group’, as many of the children will be targeting similar schools.

7+ and 8+ - PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE EXAM PREPARATION CLASSES, THESE ARE NOT CATCH UP CLASS, they are challenging and fast paced classes.
