Workshop description:

Join multi award winning performance storyteller, Anna Conomos-Wedlock, for a course of high energy, impactful workshops in public speaking and storytelling skills. Anna has worked for the BBC, Royal Collection and in Educational Institutions throughout the UK as a Coach and Performer. Her course is highly practical utilising tried and tested storytelling techniques to develop participants' skills and unleash their unique voice in the performance of the spoken word. The course culminates in a final performance to which parents are invited.

Participants will be involved in the whole journey of story-making and performance: analysing and personalising the content and characters to create a story framework which they will use as a springboard for their public speaking presentations.

Anna gives personal attention to each child, incorporating their ideas and skills into their scripts as well as targeting areas of strength and weakness so they can get the most out of each session. She provides each child with practical exercises and homework for lasting results and confidence in all areas of public speaking all in a fun and supported context:

* improvisation and on the spot thinking skills
