Suitable for children sitting their 11+ exams this year
Select the date of the workshop and your child’s current year group. Children are registered through the website by booking and paying for the workshop.
Children will be placed in classes by year groups/entry level. For suitability please refer to the ‘suitable for’ section above.
The children will work through their own booklet within a small group with a teacher guiding them through the tasks. The main aim is to deliver an intense focus on each maths topic followed by a set of practice questions which will apply these newly learned skills. Our experienced teachers will teach essential strategies in small groups and help students build on their understanding of what will be required of them when answering questions during the exams.
Booklets are marked over the course of the week and children will then take these home on the final day. The marking and feedback within the booklets is extensive and will give you a good indication of the areas in which your child excelled and where they may need improvement. You will also have the chance to talk to the teacher on the last day at pick-up, provided you arrive on time. They will have an assessment on the final day which will demonstrate their capabilities working independently and not with the adult support from earlier in the week.Â
You will receive an email a few days before the booked date with details about the workshop.
We cover these key areas:
All of the above will be carried out in small groups led by experienced specialist educators in a supportive, engaging learning environment.Â
NOTE: If a workshop is Sold Out, please join the waitlist by selecting the sold out workshop, date and venue and then entering your email when prompted.
