FAQs
Are your mock exams targeted towards particular schools?
Our mock exams are targeted towards London and boarding independent school exams and assessments. They cover a range of schools.
How many mock exams should my child do through the year?
We design these Mock Exams to give a snapshot of where your child is currently at in comparison to the rest of the cohort, with a mixture of written and multiple choice questions. We recommend that you do two or three mocks throughout the year, this way you can track your child’s progress and understand where further preparation is needed.
Does my child need to prepare for the mock exams?
No they do not need to prepare, but most children will have been working on content at school or with tutors. We try to give the children a good experience to allay their fears of what is to come.
How does the marking process work?
Our expert teachers mark the papers and written feedback is given on the papers, you will receive the papers by post with the feedback. A table of the results for the cohort that sat the papers is also given so that you can see exactly how your child is doing.
When will I receive mock exam results?
We try our best to get them back to you within 7 days, depending on the post!
What should my child bring to the mock exam?
A clear pencil case with three sharp pencils, a small ruler, three pens (age appropriate), a water bottle that can not spill and a healthy snack.
Do the mock exams mimic the real thing?
The mocks mimic a range of school exams as close as possible.
Do you offer extra time to children that need it?
We can not accommodate each child’s extra time, but we adjust the exam marks to reflect the extra time given.
