What is the cancellation policy for workshops?
Should you need to cancel a booking, you must cancel by email (hello@yellowbirdeducation.co.uk) and you will have the following options:
- 14 days or more before the start of the course/workshop/exam, you will be offered a credit for a future course/workshop/exam valid for 12 months OR a full refund less an admin fee (the lesser of 10% of the order or £50).
- Less than 14 days before the start of the course/workshop/exam, refunds or credits can not be given unless the workshop is full and we can fill the place with the waiting list.
- No shows are not eligible for a credit or refund.
Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend a workshop?
14 days or more before the start of the course/workshop/exam, you will be offered a credit for a future course/workshop/exam valid for 12 months OR a full refund less an admin fee (the lesser of 10% of the order or £50).
Are there any prerequisites or requirements for attending a workshop?
Anyone can join our Creative Writing workshops, we design our booklets with the idea that there is something for everybody. Some workshops do require a certain level of ability to be able to join. We ask that children attending our Exam Prep based workshops are fluent in English reading and writing and are of a good level for their current year group.
Will materials be provided for the workshop?
Booklets are provided by Yellowbird for all of our workshops. Handwriting students will need to purchase MagicLink booklets for the Intensive Handwriting workshop, if they do not already have a set. Children will need to attend our workshops with a pencil case, water bottle and lunch/snacks (if attending a morning workshop).
